A Bad Day With A Camera

And So It Begins

Helios season is upon us once again. That’s right, there are blossoms. When there are blossoms I can break out my favourite, twirly, swirly Russian lens, the Helios 44m-2 58mm f2.0 lens that has the reversed front lens element. Ow, baby!

It was a rough winter and I have spent much of it feeling like I have been on life support, emotionally at least. In the past week I have been in the water, the trees are popping, and I can feel myself coming back to life. The travel trailer is not quite ready to go yet, but now I am within spitting distance of it being good enough to hit the road with it. Small fixes can continue as the season progresses.

This is better.

Today’s kit was my Canon EOS R5 with the now infamous Helios 44m-2 58mm f2.0 lens that has the reversed front lens element for that whirly, swirly bokeh effect. A 12mm extension tube added.
