A Bad Day With A Camera

Dynamic Duo Rides Again

Some pictures are for art and some are just to prove that you were there and you were awesome. We were definitely awesome, and I have proof of it.

My wife absolutely did not enjoy her first paddle board outing last year. She was uncomfortable and worried about falling in. I get that because on my first outing last year I floated around kind of petrified myself. She actually did better on her first outing than I did.

This year Jen launched beautifully and acted like an old hand on the lake. Totally picked up where she left off last fall and didn’t tire out like she did last spring. The wind on the water didn’t even faze her this year. I’m very proud of her for overcoming what is a huge fear for a lot of people.

We logged a paltry 3.6 km this outing, but that’s okay. It was a bit windy gross out and the truth was that we were having as much fun floating together and chatting as we were paddling, and some togetherness on the water is fine by me. Much better than a night spent in front of the TV in my books.

It’s going to be a good summer on the water together.

My OM System Tough TG-7 waterproof camera with GPS logging is now officially back in business for the season.
