I woke up to a wind-driven, splattery rain that was at times going sideways. I am not objecting to the moisture as it is badly needed, but the delivery of it was less than auspicious. The wind also kept shifting directions without warning, obfuscating my lens with droplets no matter how I tried to protect it while shooting.
I eventually gave up on trying to get an image outside of my home, although I did give it my best. I did manage to get a short video segment.
It’s a bit difficult to see, but notice the speed the clouds are moving at in the video. That’s rather fast and it is why we have the hellacious wind at ground level. I went back inside and ate birthday cake as it was my daughter’s 23rd birthday. This also explains the conditions outside as it is always like this on her birthday, especially when we are hoping to do something outdoors.
The next day’s weather is supposed to be nicer.
