There is no denying it at this point; I’m behind. Well, sort of. I have been out with a camera practically every day since starting this photo diary on Feb 1, 2024 and I have at least one picture to show for every day, except one. I was so sick that day that I wound up lying half dead in my chair taking pictures of my cat. Even so, I still used a camera that day as Ray would expect no less.
Every day other than my sick day, yeah, I have at least one picture to show for it. Sometimes a lot more. Some days I even get multiple posts up. Right now though, I’m dragging tail. I think part of it is mid-project fatigue. After going at this site hard for months I’m a bit tired of it and wanting a break. I don’t ever seem to have enough time for it, and that is without family emergencies popping up.
There are at least six posts I have images for but that I have not written or put up yet. I need to get to it, but it honestly could be a week. Heck, it could be a month before I get around to them [he says as he pauses to feel guilty about his unposted vacation photos from the beginning of July this year].
The thing is… The thing is that I have taken photos practically daily for over half a year and I have (almost entirely) kept my word to Ray. I’m out of my home each day with a camera that I am capable of it. I’ll post the backlogged images when I can. I hope Ray doesn’t mind, but I’m hitting my limits this summer.
