Blows. Blowing. Blown. As in wind, and lots of it. There was a healthy breeze as The Missus and I put our stand-up paddle boards (that we sit on) onto Chestermere Lake this morning. That breeze turned into a stiff wind as our journey progressed.

I didn’t get much opportunity for photos on the water. Stopping paddling meant the wind was pushing you somewhere you likely didn’t want to be. We had to cut things short because of it, but we’re happy we did. We were seeing the occasional whitecap on the surface of the lake from the wind as we headed out of town, back home. You don’t want to sitting on the lake on a paddle board in those conditions.
It was still nice to be on the water early in the morning with my wife, even if everything wasn’t perfect. I enjoy being outside doing things with her when we can.
