The low temperatures are coming and I am trying to get ready for them. The strategy is to get out and go for a long walk in the nippy fall air every morning before the sun comes up. Further to this, I am slightly underdressing so I feel the bite of the cold and can start to acclimatize to it.

This is challenging for me because, while I handle heat really well, I am the opposite with cold weather. It affects me badly, especially my arthritic hands. They lose dexterity when exposed to freezing temperatures. Still, if I am going to be active outside this winter, I had better start prepping for it now.

I may cheat and get some heated gloves, however.
