My boss is getting sticky about me taking my lunch breaks. Well, he is sticky about my bad habit of NOT taking lunch breaks and I got an earful last week, so I am trying to be better about this. He is why I was wandering around the park across from my home at lunch today.
I would say that half of the trees have gone completely bald so far and the rest are starting to look like Bruce Willis in the years after he did Die Hard. I cannot believe the town has snow fence up already in the park. It isn’t even November. Worse, the grass is still green. What kind of asshat puts up a snow fence over top of green grass?!?
I went to take some pictures of the Mountain Ash in our yard because I wanted to contrast the red berries with the golden leaves. There was only one problem; the birds have eaten ALL of the berries off of that tree. All. Of. Them. There’s nothing left for the winter. Which makes me wonder just how awful those crabapples shown above must taste if they have been passed over first by the local locusts, pardon me, Hutterites, and then the robins.
Anyhow, fall is progressing and I’m doing what I can to record it. And to also take my lunch breaks so I get less waggy finger.
