The problem with running a daily photo blog is that it requires one to take photos on a daily basis. Something I’d love to do if I could actually use one of my work lunch breaks more often than, say, once a week. If I’m lucky. In practice, this means that by around 4:00 pm I have a slowly developing panic about what I’m going to do about the image needed for the day, so if I see something that tickles my artistic pickle in any way…
My wife had cleared the dying plants off of the front step while I was out floating the Bow River on Sunday afternoon (pics to come) and cleared off the stump a planter normally sits on. I walked past and, hey… Texture. [click] It’s not the kind of photo I wanted for a daily post, but it is better than no photo at all.
The Missus and I took our eScooters out last night for a spin around Gray Park and the sky was coming to life. It was one of those AWWW YEAHH moments and then I had a pic in the bag for the day I felt pretty good about. The nagging panic was gone until the next morning when it could start anew.
I’m posting this the morning after and the seed of the pic panic is back and it’s growing. I can feel it.
