A bullshit artist is obviously someone who takes bullshit pictures. Why does a serious artist take bullshit pictures? Because that is the only picture he has time for.
If there is a day that will make you hate other human beings more than anything else in the universe, it is your first day back from a long-ish vacation. There is perhaps no other day in the calendar (other than Christmas) that can you cause you to lose faith in your fellow humans like the first day back at your desk after a holiday.
“Fuck. Fuck me. Just fucking fuck, fuck, oh my fuck, why in the world would you fucking… FUCK!”
“Are you okay down there?”
“NO.”
Example: An underwriter emailed me on a Monday of the week I was off and ignored my out-of-office message asking that anything time sensitive be sent to a co-worker since I was away until the following week. She asked for time sensitive paperwork. That Friday the same underwriter emails again to say she was cancelling the policy since I had not responded and fulfilled her request.
I find this the following Tuesday as I am back at my desk going through my inbox. I phoned the underwriter in question, explained how she had ignored my out of office message, twice, and that she was either reinstating and giving me time to get her the paperwork or my next call would be to someone in authority over her and my new life mission would be destroying her professionally because she had managed to enrage me that badly. Five minutes later I had a contrite apology and a policy back in force.
That was the high point of the day as things went downhill from there. I did not take a lunch break. I worked late after I was supposedly done for the day to try and catch up. I did not have any time for pictures until it was suddenly nine in the evening and I realized I had gotten nothing for a blog post. At this point I did not have the energy to go far for making images.
So, on a bullshit day, I slipped outside and took some bullshit pictures in order to be able to throw up a bullshit post. Enjoy your bullshit.
Images made using my Canon Powershot G1X that now has new batteries that last longer than ten shots.
