The morning started out okay. I felt a bit under the weather, but not awful. That changed quickly. By 2:00 pm I was throwing up to the point of dry heaving and starting to slur my words on the phone from fatigue. I would open a customer’s account tile and then spend five minutes trying to remember what I was going to do there. I threw in the towel and called in sick for the rest of the day.

There was still the matter of trying to make an image or three for this blog because, well, that is the point of having a daily photo blog. I was worried that if I went outside I wouldn’t have the energy to come back in. There was also the wild wind whipping all the flowers around. Makes macro photography challenging.

I made it out to the backyard, got a couple of images, and threw up a small bit by the shed. Got back inside and melted back into my chair for an hour, while glumly watching a sunset out the window I had no energy to launch a drone for (the wind had suddenly quieted). So much for Monday.

Today’s kit: A Canon EOS R5 with a SMC PENTAX-A 100mm f/2.8 macro lens mounted using a Fotodiox PK-EF lens adapter.
