Today is the last day of the first four months of the blog and I learned something new about the Reversed Helios lens. I learned that if you point it directly into the sun while shooting flowers the diffraction gives you rainbow colours all through your image. Just in time for Pride month, too!
This lens continues to be a joy to use, even if I am running out of my primary subjects for it at the moment. I am not going to let that deter me. There are many more flowers to be found before fall comes and find them I will.
It was good to end the month and the first third of my photo project on a high note. Going out with a bang, if you will.
Today’s kit was my Canon EOS R5 with the Helios 44m-2 58mm f2.0 lens that is tasty while being less filling.
