Today was another challenging day at work. My lunch break, such as it was, turned out to be me taking fifteen minutes to run to the Co-op station to have my propane tank refilled. Wherein I was informed that it aged out at the end of last month and it would cost me $55 for a new one, $85 total filled. I coughed up the moola.
This evening has been windy and cold, but at least the sky has character. There’s no way I can send up my drone, but I do happen to know of a good spot near my home for shooting skylifes.
Why, yes, I wound up back at Tom Sadler Bridge again. Quelle surprise. I took along Ray’s Canon EOS 7D he left me and exercised it a bit more. It felt good.
Challenges aside, today was a good day. I still have a job. We had guests for supper and they turned out to be nice, interesting people (wife’s co-worker and husband). My BBQ ribs turned out okay and my wife nailed the Flapper Pie for dessert. Now I get to sit here with my family and digest pie
I am thankful for this day.
The image was shot in pieces using a Canon EOS 7D and a Canon 17-40mm EF L USM f4-5.6. The photos were stitched in Photoshop. I am pleased to report that I didn’t fall into the irrigation canal, but it was a close thing.
