I was mulling over taking the snow tires off of the wife’s beast last week and I’m glad I didn’t. Every time I think we’ve had our last blast of winter for the year, Mother Nature proves me wrong again. There’s no denying it at this point — she’s being a real bitch.
This storm was roaring toward Strathmore from the southwest an hour ago and we can expect the heavy snow to start around 10:00 pm. I can’t wait. (That was sarcasm.)
The good news for the evening is that my new (refurbished) Mini 3 drone is at least twice as stable in a strong wind as the Mini 2 is. I would not have gotten a stitched, bracketed panoramic from this height in a sustained 40 kph wind using the previous model. That’s something.
