A Bad Day With A Camera

Tipping the Horizon

Sunsets are something I didn’t appreciate when I was younger. They were just something that happened. After my mother went blind, she would ask me to describe sunsets to her, because she had loved watching them and no longer could.

I learned from Mom to be grateful for even the most mundane sunset, because it was better than not seeing another sunset again for the rest of your life. We so rarely realize what we have until we no longer have it. I am grateful for this sunset and I am grateful for this day.

Shot with a DJI Mini 3 that I obtained for less than the cost of repairing the dead Mini 2.
